the fabulous matador table lamp. straight out of the mid nineteen-sixties. retro, kitsch, gaudy, garish, possibly even irrationally exuberant. think "mad men" and sputnick.
certainly the height of good taste.
genuine, orginal in all respects, not a reproduction. made in USA dimensions will follow here shortly
I think, if I remember
offered for sale "please make offer", located gainesville florida. in-person pickups (and examiners) welcome. will ship. I know how to package so they don't arrive damaged -
for more packaging info, see 3rd box down
on this page. I'll also SWAP this lamp
for stuff
on my wants list.
clicking any thumbnail below opens the big (1024 x 768) version of that image. and a bonus: folks wanting to examine the lamp in "near microscopic" detail can do it, too:
below each of my big images there's a clickable blue link that opens the "truly huge" of the same image. once you've opened the 'huge version', you'll then need to either click
your browser's 'back' button -or- (for more experienced web users) you can just type in the correct next image number and add "_big" (underscore big) in your browsers
address bar to see the next desired HUGE version. also, depending on your browsers configuration, you might have to click on the 'huge' image to have it open to it's "truly giant" proportions...
the giant pix's are roughly 1200 x 3000 px high, or roughly 2.2 mb's per image.
please see important info in the
blurb box (below thumbnails) before proceeding - thanks
images on this site are *huge*, meaning nav here will be *far*
easier for windows (and most mac) users if you'll just press your F-11 key now (and again when done here).
with each next image I've attempted to turn the lamp roughly a tenth of a turn clockwise, so that you can it in it's full glory, from all sides and angles...
my home and/or cell phone numbers provided on request.
I've put my direct e-mail link at the bottom-center of every page on this site. any questions please ask.
thanks.
